Question:

How Does Lightning work? How does a lightning rod protect your house from damage?

Please explain on a grade 9 level, Test tomorrow on it, would be great if i get an answer soon :)

Answer:

Three potential types, one would be a light sensor that would activite when the light becomes blocked (by smoke), a second could be from C02 emission, a third could be from ionization
Smoke? I'm only guessing that, being that it's in the name.
Your heat exchanger in your furnace has a crack and is putting our carbon monoxide. DONT USE IT.
In a debate situation, I would argue that having pros wear a full shield would have a positive influence on young players. Kids who play recreational hockey would be more apt to wear face protection if their pro idols wore them too. I wear a shield when I play because I'd rather look like an idiot than be one.
High levels of dust coming out of your air ducts can cause them to go off. I'd get your ventilation ducts cleaned out. I'd say it isn't something you should have a heart attack over. But it is a problem that needs attention. Get a CO detector too.
