How many kinds of lubrication are there in an automobile engine?
(1) pressure lubrication: use the oil pump, will have a certain pressure of lubricating oil continuously sent to the friction surface. Forming an oil film with a certain thickness and able to withstand a certain mechanical load without rupture, as far as possible two friction: wipe parts completely separated, to achieve reliable lubrication.
(3) regular lubrication: on some less important and scattered parts, using regular grease lubrication methods, such as engine, generator, water pump bearing lubrication and electrical starter assembly, which is used in this way.
(2) splash lubrication: a way to lubricate the friction surface by splashing oil droplets and oil mist from some moving parts (mainly crankshaft and camshaft) when the engine is working. Suitable for exposed parts of the surface splash lubrication, such as cylinder, cam; relative speed of the lower parts, such as piston pin; mechanical load lighter parts, such as tappet etc.. The wall of the cylinder is lubricated by splash, and it also prevents the engine working condition from deteriorating because of the high pressure of lubricating oil and excessive oil.
The lubrication of the engine, the lubrication strength of each part of the engine depends on the environment, the relative speed of the movement, the mechanical load, and the magnitude of the heat load. According to the different lubrication strength, the engine lubrication system adopts the following lubrication methods:
