Question:

how to bypass or disable car alarm?

i bought a cheap car 3 days ago 91 chrysler lebaron the guy lost the remote to the alarm he doesnt know anything about the alarm like the make of it he cut 2 red wires connecting to the battery the car ran great for 2 days and then we shut it off and now refuses to start it doesnt crank or anything everything else works light windows locks etc but just wont turn over. we have tried to disconnect battery and have unlocked the doors still nothing what can i do

Answer:

It this is an aftermarket alarm, trace the wires he cut to the alarm control box and unplug the wiring harness from the unit. If this is a factory alarm, reconnect the power and get a replacement remote.
when you put the key in the ignition and turn the vechicle accories on but don't start the car there will be a flashing light maybe saying security or something like that.if the light is flashing try turning the ignition to the run position not start and let it sit until the flashing light goes out.if this does not work then you need to get a key cut from the dealer and repeat the process turning the ignition to run.hope this helps
the main part of the alarm that shuts off the car should be located under the dash board by the fuse box. Take it off and plug the original back together. Hope that works for you.
