I just got a generic DCU-60 usb data cable for Sony ericsson cellphone but it has no instructions and the cable can fit either way so which way does the phone part of the cable plug in.with the 3 pins toward the top (upper part near the camera) of the connector or the other way around
Usually if you look at the pins of the connect, below it should be a picture of a computer monitor and it should be in front of you when you connect the phone and the phone's screen is in front of you as well. -Roan Sony Ericsson Answers Team
1. When u want to connect any cell phone to laptop/computer u just can not use any data or usb cable, u get connected only through the USB cable which comes along with cell phone ( or u need to buy it seperatly but every phone model has its own USB cable, so u just cant not connect with any other cell phone model USB cable. 2. And more importent is it has its won CD which u need to install it 1st n then only u can get connected.
