Question:

How to fix heat exchanger hole?

Hey guys i have an air to water intercooler on my car, with the cooling core between the cupercharger and the lower intake manifold. Well the heat exchanger for the system recently developed a small hole. Now the system isn't udner a high pressure or anything, and i can't use anything like radiator stop leak, or it could gump up the VERY thin fins in the core between the blower and lower intake manifold, so does anybody have any ideas on how to seal it? I;ve tryed liquid metal, but either i didn't cover the hole well enough, or its just not working, any ideas?Or do i need a new heat exchanger?

Answer:

if few or couple of shell pipes have leaked u can block those pipe but if more u need to change .. inspect it properly and try .
