Answer:

As someone else said, they are usually steel and you can test them with a magnet (refrigerator magnets work fine for this) but you can also use the crush testIf you can easily squeeze in the sides of the empty can, it's aluminumIf you can't easily squeeze it, it's steel.
Steel, Aluminum, some bi-metal (steel body Aluminum top), there are even plastic cans (coffee comes in them)Seems more and more plastic is being used in packagingWish Savannah had a plastic recycling program.
Most food cans are iron(steel) with a coating of bisphenol-A (an estrogen polymer) on the inside, and typically a coating of zinc or tin on the outsideOur recyclers request that we toss aluminum and steel cans together in the same binThey will separate them with a big electromagnet so we do not have to be concernedEven if they had not said it, they would still have to use that big magnet because some people would get steel cans in with the aluminum.
WARNING: This may be a pretty long answer:) I have a lot of experience with stomach problems and how to make them go awayso just read on;) What you need to do is get into your pajamas, and get to bed ASAPThe faster you go to sleep, the faster your body can fight the EVIL germsBut seem as though you still have the stomach bug, you should probably have a bucket nearbyDehydration is really bad when you've been puking, so you should try some soup broth or GatoradeHave some Popsicles if they sound good to youIf you can't keep any of that down, you should call a doctorIf you don't feel sick enough to be in your pajamas, in bed, with a bucket nearby, here's what else you could do: Pour a nice, hot bath to just soak inHave a banana, some apple slices, a piece of dry toast, and then get into your bathThe hot water will soothe your cramping muscles so you'll feel betterThen, prepare some plain, white rice and try to get a few bites inThen, get into your comfiest clothes, and stay as still as you canDrag your pillow out to the couch, watch one of your favorite movies on DVD, and get under a light blanketMake sure you actually eat apples, and don't drink apple juiceYou need fiber from the fruit, and that's not in apple juiceAnd apple juice actually makes my stomach hurt more! I really hope you start feeling yourself again in a few daysIf you want any more tips, e-mail!
