Question:

hpi firestorm a arms plastic VS Aluminum?

Hi i would like to know if i should buy the aluminum a arms for my firestorm or just the stock plastic ones because i keep breaking the plastic ones but im afraid the aluminum ones are going to bend easily

Answer:

I own a Firestorm and had the same problem you have.I switched over to the aluminum parts and have'nt had any problems bending or breaking them yet,in fact i replaced every part i could with aluminum. It handles alot better too.Good luck, God bless.
there is couple diffrent problems with aluminum.. something has to give. so eather your going to break something else, or your going to tweak a very expesive a-arm.. the last aposter you had said he like the alum... thats great, the reason why it handles better is couse its heavy, thus putting more weight to the ground... there is another option you may be over looking. it is a well known company that sell parts for almost every rc car ever built.except large scale..damn them!) it is a lighter part. more durable.and only a few dollors more then plastic. and best of all, they gaurantee all there suspension arms for life.. not kidding. they also come in white wich can be dyed a costom color to mach your rig, or the basic black.the company is RPM. alot of hobby shops stock there parts.. in my opinion.. this is the way to go
