Ours is now triggered by steam from the shower almost every time we open the bathroom door. We've had that smoke detector installed there for the past 10 years and it just started doing this about a month ago. It's probably getting ready to fail. I think we'll replace it and move the old one to another location where steal will not be an issue. They're cheap.
