Question:

i keep gettin a msg that a network cable is unplugged. I recently downgraded from cable to dial up.?

I had 2 pcs hooked up to the cable with the router, but i have unplugged all of that now. Is this something i shouldnt worry about? I also know that dial up is slow but is there anything on earth that ican do to my pc to get it to work just a little bit faster with the dial up ?

Answer:

its your getting that error msg and you still can connect to the internet.thats fine,,,if its not broken, dont fix it.
it means your cable config has not been uninstalled. You will keep getting that message until you disable all that crap
No, that's normal; nothing to worry about. And dialup is daipup, you can't increase its speed.
If you are running winxp home you open control panel, and then click network or Internet connections, click network connections a picture with two computers connected click on them and disable or network trouble shooting.
