Question:

I'm looking for a method of detecting parts.?

These parts are traveling through a 50' infrared oven. The air the beam goes through is about 1000 deg F. We use lasers on shorter ovens but as the length of the oven increases the heat affects the beam and makes it too unstable to detect. Any kind of optics at this distance doesn't work. I was hoping to find some type of RF detector (I'm not sure if the heat will affect it or not) that is about the size of the laser equipment. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks

Answer:

They have them outside sometimes. Look for cabinets as they are not always just hanging out in the open. At the very least, they will be right inside the door of the station. Emergency Pump Kill swiches and yes, in some applications, overhead suppression systems help supplement fire protection. Most of the stations in Ohio (where I live) are not equipped with the suppression systems. The ones that do have it are the stations at the membership buying clubs like Sam's, Coscos, and BJ's. Good question as many customers continually ignore many of the safety warnings by the fuel pumps (stay at the refueling point, do not re-enter vehicle while refueling, place portable containters on the ground, and STAY OFF THE CELL PHONE!)
Bad publicity drug Use (only after the third time) Failure to perform excessive weight gain or loss Revealing trade secrets Misconduct (a blanket for anything) wwe doesn't want that
Um, because of the big explosion, you probably need something bigger than a fire extinguisher to put it out.
Gas stations have a larger fire suppression system installed. Look for the over head nozzles.
You CAN use EasyBoots over any type of horse shoe. My friend has two horses with shoes, one has normal steel horse shoes and the other corrective eggbar shoes and she's used EasyBoots on both of her horses while the shoes were on. She does a lot of trail riding, and thats when she uses these boots. Good luck.
