Question:

i watch a lot of ER shows on discovery health and almost all of the doctor in the ER always wear glasses?

why do they always wear perscriptioned glasses! and no im not talkin bout the safety goggles they put on i know wut those are! but its such a coincidence that everyone wears glasses in th ER WHY? CURIOUS??!

Answer:

Let n1 1.492 (the index of hard resin surface), t1 45 Degrees (the original angle of incidence), n2 1.33 (the index of water), and t2 be the angle of refraction we are looking for. By Snell's Law, we have n1 * sin( t1 ) n2 * sin( t2 ) So substituting gives 1.492 * sin( 45 ) 1.33 * sin( t2 ) Evaluating the left hand side of the equation gives 1.055 1.33 * sin( t2 ) And dividing both sides by 1.33 yields sin( t2 ) 0.793236 Finally, taking the inverse sine (arcsine) of both sides gives us t2 52.4889 Thus the angle of refraction through water is 52.4889 Degrees
You could request remote assistance if they just want to see your screen. This can be done through windows messenger, among other ways. You could run VNC server on your machine and someone else could connect with a VNC login. Otherwise, you can try out the Logmein software.
