Question:

Is 6-year sentence in fatal excavator crash an adequate number of years for this type of crime by illegal?

CLEARWATER - A 20-year-old illegal immigrant from Mexico was sentenced to six years in prison Friday, about a month after he pleaded guilty to killing a pickup driver by driving his construction vehicle the wrong way down U.S. 19 in Pinellas Park.On the night of April 21, 2007, Agustin Palma Trejo was driving a track hoe excavator the wrong way – and without its lights on – in the 11300 block of U.S. 19 in Pinellas Park, police said.

Answer:

This is a matter of there is no drinking involved so it became a sense of the illegal being put in the position of knowing right from from wrong. Just because the employer says to do it, he had to factor in, there is right way vs wrong way to do things. The illegal knowingly broke the law and he should get what he got and his employer should be made to pay for hiring illegals, allowing illegals to drive company trucks without drivers licenses, the illegal is 100% responsible here and is here illegally.Does not matter what Americans are doing in their own country, they are legal citizens. This guy had he obeyed the law, this man would still be alive and no wreak would ever of happened. Now this family is separated
Donte Stallworth got 1 month for running over a guy while DUI. Trejo should not have been driving down the wrong side of the road. But surely this isn't the first time someone has driven a backhoe on the side of the road either. This happens daily because the cost to low-boy the backhoe and move it a couple of miles to another job-site can eat up all the profit on the job. His employer should be sued for having him illegally move the equipment (without an operators license) and pay restitution to the families as well.
What happened was tragic, but an accident. I think it is too much.
