A lack of anything is a belief that one must or should have these things. Shoulds are a *shitty* way to live. If you believe that you need money, money will always be an issue. Security, stability, love, etc. All of these things will bring you suffering as long as you continue to believe that you need them. You shouldn't have anything. You shouldn't need anything. I'd check the battery. Then I'd check for something burning. My alarm has only ever gone off because 1. the battery was low, 2. I burned toast in the oven.
