I thought at least i would get some first violin chair. THis is ridiculous
First Chair II violin in many orchestras is like 3rd chair first except that they expect you to be a leader. The most important section of the orchestra, of course is the one that you are in. For me there is a great thrill of making the music better playing a harmony part.
