Question:

Is there a device to temp disable a car alarm system?

Someone is breaking in nightly to our two cars.Subaru and BMW. We‘ve been religious about locking with the alarm system on since we first noticed. Last night, the person(s) even lowered the car windows in one car.and they are power windows! How are people able to do this? Any thoughts?

For the best answers, search on this site shorturl.im/1NNeD If your car didn't originally come with remote locks, it's not worth the bother/expense to install them. You can have them activate with a remote starter as part of the installation. Here in the states, a remote starter can be installed for around $200.00. There are more expensive models available. Many can have an alarm system included in the package. I'd guess it would add around $100.00 to the price.
Go to an alarm shop and get a free quote. Price can vary greatly, depends on brand, installer, options, and type of vehicle you own.
A normal thief would either (a) take the car, or (b) break in once, steal whatever was worth taking, and not return. Continuing the break into the car, repeatedly, without taking it, makes no sense. Usually, this means that someone who lives in your household is using your keys and your alarm remote or your alarm code to do it.
