I have a Honda Accord 1997 Ex Manual transmission. My model has the Vtec in it. My transmission has a crack or hole in the bell housing thus having no choice I need another transmission. Every where i have looked i cant find the exact same transmission. I can only find from the LX model without the Vtec but my question is.Will a manual transmission from a Honda Accord 1996-97 LX fit and bolt up and work on my Honda Accord 97 Ex?
transmission must come from the same engine. on the transmission usually on the side a white tag with either a number and letter or three letters and a number that will be the transmission i.d tag must match that number/letter combinationmy book gives a P2 model for those years that will work
