Question:

Is this an accurate price for suspension fix?

I went to sears automotive to get my suspension evaluated because I was having some problems with it, and afterwards they brought me in and showed me all the stuff they said needed to be fixed and what was wrong with it. Here is the list of what they gave me.New ball joint in frontNew control arm bushings in frontNew shocks and struts all the way aroundNew mount kitsThen an alignmentIn the end they said it would be $815.05$509.01 in parts, $275.50 in labor, $30.54 tax I was wondering if this was a decent price or if i should see if another shop could do it cheaper?

Answer:

depends the type of car if its a honda way to much mercedes sounds to little. but check other places scherr goodyear are very good and cheap if there in your area
it could desire to be the line you're utilising on. some street and highways are designed to permit water to run off of them and your alignment is desperate for this. if youpersistent on a very flat street then the vehicle could have a ordinary pull to the excellent which you superb by pulling the steerage wheel to the left. that's primary and not a situation. attempt this by utilising on different roads and repeat the roads youpersistent on, in case you come across that an identical street provides an identical pull you experience then that's the roads, not the alignment. in case you used a great save to do the alignment then they checked the tires and front end suspension for you and those could desire to be wonderful to boot.
The average price for replacing a suspension system averages about $1,000 -$2,000 and will probably cost more for luxury cars. Some cars may require a full alignment after replacing the suspension which can add $60 -$100 to the total cost.
