Question:

Lemon-Lime Meringue Pie?

I have lots of limes but only a few lemons, any particular reasons why this might not work?

Answer:

i don't think so...
If it is made with the red tea it is, they use limes in Asia more than lemons in the west, plus there lemons are smaller and look like limes, you can get it sweetened or not, with mint or pandan, as a chef I worked in Singapore and travelled to both Thailand and Vietnam, where we in the west or Europe look at it as a drink in the heat it is a common street beverage all year long.

No Thai popuation serve ice tea, Cha Yen. Meaing Iced tea. To be exact Cha Dum Yen. Cha tea Dum black Yen Cold Thailand is hot all year round. So it is served all through the year. It is redish and very sweet. So immagine there is only tea leafs and sugar in it. Lime iced tea would be Lipton or something similar perhaps.
