How should I make soy jerkey? I really like the quot;texas BBQ Primal Stripsquot; and I want to mimic the texture and flavour at home because it's cheaperToday I tried to make TVP crumbles jerkey by boiling it and making a bbq sauce and baking it in the ovenand it didn't get the chewy stringy texture it just looks like ground round:(

I do unbaked cheesecake like this but I add 2 tubs of cream cheese, 1 tub marscapone around 1 cup of double cream (whisked to firm peaks) and 1tbsp gelatinmine is always beautifully smooth and perfectly firm.
