Question:

MIM and MIA fender guitars?

i want to buy a new fender strat but im torn between getting either1A road worn series 50's strat or 2An American Standardthe road worn is made in mexico, but has a really cool nitrocellulose finishthe american strat has a quot;plasticyquot; polyeurethane finish, but its american madetheyre both in the same price category so basically im wondering should i go for a less quality mexican strat that has a nicer finish or a better built american strat that doesnt look as nicewould they sound noticably different quality wise?

Answer:

at 13, that little pouch is normalAs long as you eat right and exercise regularly, you will grow out of itYou need to be less concerned with how you look and a lot more concerned with who you are and who you want to be.
the sit ups that everyone is telling you to do will help some, but walking, running, or jogging will probably help more because it will burn the fat where as sit ups will make the muscles strongertry a combo of both cardio and sit ups/crunches.
if you already lead a even somewhat active lifestyle, it's going to take that much more to loose the weight if you go from literally no activity, to doing an hour of cardio every day, you are going to melt fat away pretty fast if you already have even some activity in your day to day routine, it's going to be a little bit harder to loose the pouch just keep doing what you are doing it's not going to harm you in any way as long as you are dieting and exercising safely.
What i do is drink a glass of water before eating any of your meals and that will make you feel fuller so you arent taking in as much calories as possible, and do alot of cardio like running riding your bike swimming etc., and crunches as well as cardio will help alot too, and try doing four or five meals that are little, thats all i got
In my opinion, the American Standard Stratocaster is the better choiceCompared to the RW 50's Stratocaster, you are getting an upgraded bridge, machine tuners, and neck with the StandardThe two guitars are going to sound very different, due primarily to the Texas Specials in the RW 50's guitar versus the American StandardsThey will also each have a very unique feel during play, as a result of the different neck and fret profilesAlthough some will strongly disagree, I never have been able to understand the attraction of the road-worn or relic guitars; if you want a guitar to appear like it has been dragged around a parking lot, why not do it yourself and save the added expense? Seriously, which is best for you comes down to playing style, tone preference, and visual perceptionTry to check them each out as thoroughly as possible before purchasingBest regards, Dana
