Question:

My boiler heats the water but all the radiators remain cold.?

Hi, Please help. My vokera mynute boiler is working (it is heating the water), but all my radiators are cold. Yesterday, all the radiators worked except for one. I tried to fix it by shutting the flow valves one at a time and then opening the bleeder to let the water run out until the pipe beneath the flow valve became hot. This seemed to be working successfully, but when I had finished and reset the valves, I realized the boiler had automatically shut down because the pressure had dropped. I turned the boiler off and re-pressurized the system to 1.5 bars, and now the boiler starts ok and it heats the water, but all the rads remain cold. I tried to bleed the rads but none release air and they are fully cold. Could anyone tell me what to do? I'm hoping its just some air between the boiler and the rads that will take some time to rise through the system, and I can bleed them out later. The boiler is a Vokera Mynute. Please help!

Answer:

air in the radiator has to be released not by shutting the inlet valve, instead the outlet valve should be shut, bleeding valve maybe fitted before the outlet valve or separately. release air till some hot water will start spilling out, prepare some old towel to cover the air lease valve in case the pressure is high. close he air bleed valve and then open the outlet valve, you are in Biz and hot water will flow.
If you have a room thermostat try turning this up when the boiler is running you may need to do this to open a motorised valve on the central heating, hope it helps.
take off one radiator ,and empty it ,refix the radiator and then turn on the boiler, bleed the whole system of radiators until hot water comes out
