Question:

my rear right tire jerks my car to the right when it hits a bump?

It only happens on that side and it only jerks the rear of the car. The tire isn‘t loose either. Any ides?

Answer:

This is an easy question. The suspension system is the only thing that would cause this issue to happen. To be exact, your suspension system breaks down as thus. Springs assist in keeping the vehicle level and help the struts/shocks to maintain the tires firmly on the ground. The struts/shocks absorb shock from bumps and pot holes in the roads (also when you drive on uneven sidewalks) :) The issue you are having tells me the shocks or struts on the rear have to be replaced. When your car jerks, it's due to the tire not staying firmly on the ground and the car being allowed to slide an inch or two to the side (while the tire is in mid air). * * remember: these have to be replaced in pairs so the rear end or front end (depending on which ones you replace) will be at the same strength. Once they are replaced, this issue will have jerked no more. Midas can replace them and give lifetime warranty on them as well. Good Luck.
as it only happens on bumps it could well be to do with the suspension. or a wheel bearing or possibly the break cylinder on that wheel is locking slightly for a moment
About the only thing it can be is a suspension component problem, such as bad bushings in a track rod.
