Question:

Windshield Wipers Not Working On 1988 Jeep Cherokee???

My Windshield Wipers Stopped Working On My CHerokee. Sometimes They Work And Sometimes They Dont. There Is A Clear Piece That Is Connected To The Black Fuse Box, And It Looks Like The Pins Are Corroded And One Is Broken. When I Put A 30 Fuse In It It WOrked FOr A Couple Days But it Stopped Working Again. Do You Think I Need That Clear Piece Replaced That Connects To The Wipers That I Put A 30 Fuse In?

Answer:

Dodge products are funny huh? I owned three they all had fires in the wire loom. Trade that baby off on a nice sunny day.
your wiper motor has a short in it. The same thing happened to someone I know. Replace the wiper motor and the fuse box. This should help.
try changing out the wiper switch my bros 89 cherokee didnt work so he changed that out and it started to work really good. thats what i would try from what you said because i cant figure out what your talking about with the pin thing and what not. it shouldnt be expensive and it should be easy to install. if that dont fix it then go to an auto parts store and either buy or look at a chiltons or something like that for your jeep to see if you can find that part in it and order one up if you can thats the only way to see exactly what that part is.
