Question:

need help with my home theater speakers?

for some reason my 2 back speakers are louder then the front speakers on the left and right, i have been told itts because of th chaannel level, can someone help me with this please, i have polk audio speakers and a denon reciever

Answer:

You simply need to go into your receivers menu and under speaker settings adjust the levels for all speakers. It will play a test tone and you want to adjust the level of all speakers so they are the same at the listening position. Leave the main left and right main speakers at the middle of the output level and adjust the rears to match the mains. Same goes for the center channel speaker if you have one. In the menu of ur system, you should have to option to increase or decrease the volume of each individual speaker. You should turn down the back speakers if they are too loud or turn up the other speakers to match it. It should be an easy fix
