Question:

Nervous about our new Jack?

My uncles donkey had a whoops when his stud got to his Jennet so we are taking the baby. Unfortunately it is a Jack. He is just reaching 6 months and we need to take him soon. Should we geld him first? I can feel both testes and one is fully dropped. I just don't want to deal with an ornery SOB plowing thru my fences as there are females just up the road. Also he will eventually be in with my horses. I have only ever had female donkeys, do gelded Jacks adopt the same temperment as gelded horses? A little bit calmer?

Answer:

Read it literally. I doubt they'd find a Beatles T shirt offensive.
smoke detectors are only go off to a certain smoke.. if you think about it.. some people smoke in their homes and their alarms don't go off it might go off though when you blow it out depending how close you are and how sensitive it is.. i remember when i had a birthday cake and we were pretty close to our fire alarm and it went off lol. my dad and i are candle fanatics.. especially scented ones.. and our smoke alarm doesn't go off at all. hope this helped about your candles. and insense doesn't make it go off either.. my brother had lit a few insense.. no alarm..
