Question:

What are the reasons NOT to recycle?

paper, plastic, aluminum, steel, etc

Answer:

There are no frequent issues with your cooling systemI would imagine that the replacement radiator that was installed may be a cheaper foreign made copy of an original Chrysler part. That is how things are generally done.
That is unusual - was the car ever involved in a frontal collision of any kind? If it has, there may be undetected damage to the radiator support resulting in excessive stress on the radiator.
yes the plastic tanks do rupture alot, usually because of age or overheating issues, has the thermostat been changed? or radiator cap? most replacement radiators are from mexico and are of substandard quality
If it has cracked again, I would suspect stress mounting is the causeSmall grommets are used to allow for heat expansion movement and vibration, if these are not installed, the radiator takes all of the stress and vibrationIf the vehicle was involved in an accident, the mount area may be distorted causing undue stress on the radiator when the mount bolts are tightenedCheck for proper alignment of mount holes and that none are being forced into position.
Recycling paper takes sooo much energy, it would have already decomposed by the time it gets recycled! But sorry, with other plastics and metals and glasses, it really is a lot better for the enviroment.
