pivot arm keeps falling off of motor for windshield wipers is there suppose to be a clip or what ill put the pivot arm back on an it will fall of again i need my wipers i live in oregon so its always wet

if what your talking about is that where the wiper motor n main arm that works the wiper arms keeps falling off most of the time there is like a ball n socket there the ball being steel n the socket plastic what can happen is that the is 1 side of the socket brakes of wheres out n will fall off the ball
there is suppose to be a clip. it could have fallen off or broke.it should be laying there someplace. if it just came off, put it back on but if it,s broke go and get another clip from the junk yard. i call it a clip but it,s really a ball socket so the arm can swivel.
