i had the chair removed frm fireplace 2 have a gasfire fitted........now we wish 2 reopen fire and go bck 2 the real thing........i need 2 no how do i go bout getting the chair replaced and who do u go 2 , 2 fit it back as i can not remba who took it out as it was 18yrs go
The term 'chair' regarding a fireplace is new to me, and I don't know where you are from. In the US, look up 'fireplaces' (or possibly chimneys) in the yellow pages. Real fireplaces--made of firebrick, not an insert--are a lost art, so a typical bricklayer (mason) may not know how to do them.
