Question:

should I tell my white husband to lose weight for the New Year?

My white husband has gained a lot of weight since we got married 1 ? year agoHe's 5'11 and he weighs 197 pounds and he used to weigh around 180-188He's not fat but a bit untoned and it's bothering me, should I tell him to lose weight?

Answer:

Plastic bags have very little R-value, as already mentioned would create a fire hazardYour best bet would be to call an insulation contractorThey can add blown in loose fill insulation to your walls, atticYou may spend more than you want, but it will pay for it's self, add value to your home.
No Insulation In Walls
From a fire safety standpoint - no, absolutely not! Residential insulation is either non flammable or treated with a flame retardantPlastic grocery bags on the other hand burn like crazyIt's not the sort of thing you want to go jamming into walls that contain all of the wiring that runs inside your houseThe amount of plastic bags you would need to actually insulate an entire house would be insane as well.
Those wouldn't work at allYou need to hire a professional insulation contractorThere is a lot more to it than simply putting insulation downYou have to do certain things first, or else you might end up with a mold problemAnd if there's nothing in the walls, then putting it in the ceiling will do little good; the heat will go out the walls insteadPath of least resistanceThe contractor needs to properly insulate both the walls and attic space.
OMG 11 lbs! Can he still take care of himself of does he need Jerry Springer to take down one wall of the house and lift him by a crane onto a flat bed truck to go to the hospital for treatment? Seriously, you will not be perfect looking for the rest of your life, no matter how much you think you willIf 11 lbs bothers you as you say, then your in for a rough road aheadLife will throw a lot more then a few extra pounds at peopleThere's babies, stretch marks, medical issues, accidents and moreWe all start out like beautiful new cars just off the lot, but then we have drive on the highway of life and by the time we get to where we are going, we are all covered in some way with our own kinds of dings, scratches, flat tires, missing parts a trunk full of baggage and about 5 new coats of paint to try and hide it all.
