Question:

Should you have Halloween lights or Christmas lights up for Thanksgiving?

Orange vs. red/green?Or...just white lights?

Answer:

Neither. Thanksgiving is its own holiday. Put up Thanksgiving decorations.
Neither. Halloween is over. Time to get ready for THANKSGIVING. Put up thanksgiving decorations. I get mad when the stores ignore thanksgiving and focus only on making money for christmas
White lights are fine for any time-- they can be used to decorate any occasion. Colored lights, red green-- no, not for Thanksgiving. Those aren't good seasonal colors, doesn't set the right mood. Orange lights are good-- orange is an autumn color. As long as they don't have ghosts or skulls or something on them. A lot of the decor I use for Thanksgiving has been up since September-- gourds squash, scarecrows, pumkins (not jack-o-lanterns), fall flowers colored leaves. White lights goes fine with them, orange would work too.
No. Just a simple (Hanuka) menorah.
