When i play spore and i get into space and do my first mission an then it saids to return to home planet and the i get a transmission but i cant open ive tried all sorts of thing like flying low by the cities but nthng works
There's a button specifically for transmissions. It is on your control panel and looks a lot like a radar symbol. It is just to the right and above your mini-map. You can receive transmissions even while in orbit, you don't have to zoom close to the planet or stop by a city.
