Question:

Tiny invisible demons cause iron to rust.?

Could you do an experiment to test the truth of this statement? Why or why not? Totally confused about my homework.

Answer:

It's moisture and oxidization that cause Iron to rust, not tiny invisible demons. We take raw iron ore to make iron and Mother nature reclaims the iron from the ore. It is a natural process. No magic, no spells, no demons or any of the other things. That sounds kind of strange for a home work project, but it is more than likely the teacher wants you to explain what cause the iron to rust. Spray water on iron and in a few days it will show rust.
Type what causes rust into your search engine. Maybe that will help.
