Question:

Why does a boiling pot of water shake?

Today i was boiling some water in a small round-bottomed metal bowl on my electric stoveWhen the water started to heat up and boil the metal pot started to shake vigorously to the point that i had to turn off the stove from fear of it falling overI have no idea why this would happen and would really like to know the physics behind this, if anyone can explain as best they can or refer me to a site that might explain this.Thank you for your time.

Answer:

In a packet, put slices of onion, bellpepper, some garlic, SP, and any type of meat: hamburger patty, pork chop, chicken breast, beef steakMake sure meat is seasonedTop meat w/ ketchup, BBQ sauce or steak sauce ( if you like), and seal up wellToss on fire and leave there at least 30 min, flipping every 10 min or soUse heavy duty alum foilYou can do a separate packet w/ diced potatoes (dice small, so they cook quickly) w/ copped onions, SP, garlicmaybe a strip of bacon, chopped up, or a couple tsp of butteragain, about 30 min, flipping every 10 min or soYou can also do dessert: firm banana, thinly sliced apples or peaches, brown sugar, buttermaybe a handful of oatmealdash of cinnamon and saltMmmM!
You can certainly do this onePrepare at home up to the point where you put them in foil and put them in your cooler for cooking in the fireIf you have a mature fire pull some coals to the side and lay the chicken packets on top of the coalsI would probably cook for about 45 minsBaked Stuffed Chicken Breast 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, fat removed 1/2 small yellow onion, sliced 4 lemon slices, rind removed 4 small garlic cloves, peeled and sliced 4 Tbs ranch, ceaser OR italian dressing 3 Tbs olive oil (seasoned is good) 4 1/4 slices real butter salt and pepper Cut a deep slit in the side of each chicken breast to create a pocket in the centerCarefully insert 1 slice butter, 1 lemon slice, a few pieces of an onion slice (not the whole slice just a few pieces) and 1 of the sliced garlic clovesSalt and pepper the breastsOver medium high heat in a skillet brown the breasts in the oil for 2 minutes on each sideRemove the breasts and place them on sheets of foil large enough to wrap themPreheat oven to 350F Coat one side with 1 Tbs of your choice of the salad dressing and wrap the chicken with the foilPut chicken breast packets on a roasting pan and bake for 30-45 mins depending on the size of the breastsDo not turn themRemove from oven carefully open the foil and let stand for 2 minsServe with baked potato and dinner saladMMMM Good!
