Question:

toxic metals.!?

Toxic metal results.?hi i recently had some heavy metal toxicity tests and i was shocked to see that i had quite alot of different metals in my blood and hair i dont understand how i have them in my body? my guess is it must be through eating food or water or in the environmentIn my blood aluminium was 405nmol/l, arsenic was 87nmol/l, chromium was 37.6nmol/l, manganese 221 nmol/l mercury 18.1 nmol/l thalium 0.29nmol/l cadmium 1 nmol/l nickel 12.9 nmol/l and pretty much the same with my hair analysisI don't know what to do about it whether to just leave it as they are in the acceptable ref range apart from a couple which are slightly overi got them from a private lab, do i need to get rid of these and how? or should i just leave them as they are not overly high levels? thanks i would appreciate any advice

Answer:

Well I'm no expert on metal toxicity but that wouldn't bother me in the slightestTo put it into context, let's take the highest value, which is for aluminium405nmol/l means that in every litre of your blood you have 11 micrograms of aluminiumThat's 11 millionths of a gramThe nornal ranges for these metals differ according to which studies you readAnd anything close to normal is way below the level that would cause toxic effectsThey get into your body through your mouth mostlyYou eat vegetables that have been grown in soil, which contains metalsYou may eat meat from animals that have eaten grass grown in soilYou drink water that has filtered through rocks with metals in themIt's natural to have some metals in your body and it's your kidneys' job to get rid of them.
