Question:

Used front loader washing powder by accident?

I have bought front loader washing powder instead of top loader - can I still use it and do I need to do anything eg. reduce or increase how much I use

Answer:

front loader or he detergent is a different formula than that of regular detergent. it will work just fine. the main difference is he detergent is not as strong as regular detergent in that although it cleans the same it will not bubble as much . the spinning speed s in a front loader can reach 1300 rpms which means that the washer can over sud whereas a regular washer speeds are at most 500 rpms and most likely not over sud. the other difference between he detergent and regular is the materials in the he will not corrode the belts and such in a front loader whereas the regular detergent may void the warranty on the frontloader when used.
All that is is a marketing thing. Go ahead and use it... it'll be fine. Dont over use it because front loaders will sometimes suds up more. Good Luck!
Well, front loading powder produces less suds since a front loader cannot drain away bubbles.
Yes you can use top loader washing powder .
Yes, you can use it. I have a front loader - the detergent for front loaders don't foam as much. I use both kinds of detergent in mine, because the one I really like is only made for top loaders. So on occassion, I get it. They both have the same strength.
