EVERY rock track can be tracked back to the blues so lets give up all the labels and your not cool if you like soft rock, just enjoy the music and don't worry about its label or if it's cool. yes I did one of the first heavy metal bands was Iron butterfly... Heavy metal is a genre but also a sub genre of rock music, Rock music is genre but also sub genre of Blues and RB.... Look up Speed metal which is not a genre but what you call any thing that's played with speed which is lots of genre's of music...
