there is nothing you can do. they can fire you for anything or nothing except for discrimination and you would have to prove that.

Almost all of the U.S. is under an employment-at-will policy, meaning you can be fired for any or no reason at any time and you can quit at any time (unless you have an employment contract stating the opposite). The only way it would be a wrongful termination would be if you can prove that the McDonalds store has a habit of firing people just before they get their raise. Otherwise, they are pretty much allowed to fire you and you will not get anywhere in your suit except paying a lawyer for nothing.
