Question:

What is the best flat iron?

I'm looking for a cheap drugstore flat iron that works really well and won't damage hair as muchAny suggestions?

Answer:

Well I hear Chi is really good but pretty pricey, but you have to remember, the pricier the better it is for your hair most likelyMy straightener is Amika, I think I got ripped off I got it for like $150, then I got a Cortex straightener from Winners (like the Canadian version of TJ Maxx) for maybe 50I don't exactly remember but it worked just as wellI wouldn't suggest Conair, I had 2 of those and both of them suckedIt's better to spend a bit of money than to get one that doesn't workAlso you should look for something on the box that says 100 percent ceramic plates not metal plates, metal will destroy your hairIf it just says ceramic plates it may just have a ceramic coating and metal inside, which isn't very good for your hair, the best is 100% ceramic which can be a bit more pricey but better for your hairAlso if you don't want it to damage your hair as much turn the temperature as low as you can, but high enough that it will still straighten your hairBuy a heat protectant, I'd suggest TRESemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray, and spray it in your hair, let it dry, then straighten itI hope this helped :) If you like what you heard check out the blog link below to a blog based on preventing and healing damaged hairAlso e-mail me for further questionsGood luck!
No clue but I'm stuck at home with my brother and we are both bored of of our minds so if you find something to do, let me now please :/
