Question:

What's the word for the thing people can sit in on the back of a truck?

It attaches to the truck, it's not the actual truckIs it like a trailer or something? But it's kind of small and a few people can sit in the back and it's coveredI don't even know if it has a name, but if soI don't know dude.

Answer:

On a pickup truck, there are two main parts to the bodyFirst is the cab, which is the part where everybody sitsThen there is the bed, which is the open back part where you can put stuffThe bed has a gate which opens and closes to allow easy accessThis is known as the tailgateThe tailgate is often used for sitting when openedTailgate parties often happen in and around the tailgateBut what you're saying is that this thing people sit on is detached? That sounds pretty dangerousHere's what I think you might mean: 1) A box capThese are the like boxes that cover up the bed of the truckYou can't legally fit passengers in them, but you can sit there when the truck isn't going anywhere 2) A cherry pickerThis is like a big crane on the back of the truck that has a bucket where a person or maybe two can stand and do work fromUsually seen on phone/cable trucks, construction vehicles, and firetrucksUsually not covered thoughI really can't think of anything else that you might mean.
Keep them in the fridge or a cool place like you garageThey will last for monthsI used to buy 50 pound bags of potatoes.
Potatoes are so versatileI really could eat them every meal and not get boredYou can make home fries with breakfast, leave them out of your lunches and then do shepards pie, or mashed potatoes with gravy, or baked potatoes with sour cream and chives and even cheddar and broccoli if you like that sort of thingIf worse comes to worse you can make clocks out of them :) Oh and check out some recipes for Needhams online they are wonderful chocolate and coconut desserts that have potato in them.
On top of all the other good answers, I put a cubed potato in split pea soup to thicken it while it's cookingOr you could also make scalloped potatoes, potatoes au gratin, hashbrowns, those little boats stuffed with taco meat and cheese like you'd get at a Mexican restaurant as an appetizer Happy cooking!
potato salads are beautiful! or you can make pies with a potato topping! alternatively if you have or know of any young children, you can cut out the potatoes to form shapes like stars and moon crescents and this really makes a fun art project! use it like a stencil! have fun!
