Answer:

No the lid is not oven safeborrow some foil form a neighbor
It should be fine, my mom does it all the timeJust put the pan on a cookie sheet before you start filling it and throw the whole thing in the oven because the lasagna can be very heavy and the roaster pan can bend as you are trying to move it around.
Plastic melts in the oven, so it is not safeThe plastic cover would be for storage or transporting the food productIf you don't have a metal or pyrex roasting pan cover, you could try covering the ham with brown paper, like from a large brown paper bagsMy mom used to roast chicken in brown paper bagsDo you happen you have a neighbor that can loan you some foil? That would be your safest option.
I agree that it's almost certainly not okay for baking, particularly since a ham will be tall and therefore closer to the coils (which will be a lot hotter than the air inside the oven)If you don't have aluminum foil or parchment paper, you can use anything metal, glass or ceramic that will fit over your ham, like cookware, bakeware, etc.you may need to add extra baking time though if they're thick especially but if you preheat those items that could be close to good enough for the same baking timeYou could perhaps even use several layers of fabric, perhaps soaked with oil, or even a brown paper bag (though sometimes those have been sprayed with things).not too close to the coils again thoughAnd if there's any open space between the bottom and the new lid you could wrap that with fabric (soaked in water or even oil).you probably don't need anywhere near an air-tight cover though, or even a cover at all.
Most hunting rifles used for large game in North America will easily penetrate an engine blocklike the .270, 30-30, .308, 30-06, or betterPistols like the .44 Magnum, .454 Casull, .50 Action Express, and .500 SW will easily penetrate an engine block Barnes doesn't seem to know much about firearms, but seems to have watched a lot of moviesDepleted uranium shell to penetrate cast iron, my a$$, first off the shell is what holds the primer, powder, and bullet, not what comes out of the business end of the barrel of a firearmEven the lowly 5.56X 45 with Armor piercing bullets will easily penetrate an engine blockCast iron is a fragile metal and is easily broken compared to steal, Aluminum that is used in many engine blocks is even softer metal than cast ironAs for penetrate car tyres (tires) the UK police may use a special tipped bullet, but it would only be for people safety because even the lowly .22 Long Rifle will easily penetrate a car tire.
