Question:

What would be better a 3 Link or 4 Link rear suspension?

I have a 2001 Ford Ranger and want to convert it into a Baja truck (prerunner as some call it)I already know what long travel suspension I‘m going to buy and other parts that go with it. But I‘m having trouble choosing a rear suspension.I don‘t want to add a deaver pack because I want more travel and better stability. So anyone out there that knows about 3 Links and 4 Links; which is better? what are the pros and cons? For example: Camburg offers a 3 Link system. and Giant Motorsport has 4 Link kits. Which would be the best to go, unless someone knows of a better shop. Please and Thank you.

Answer:

check to see if you have power at the wiper motor, if you do then the wiper motor is bad.
Sounds like a short; unless you have hours,i'd take it to an auto electrical shop. Call around for the lowest hourly rate God Bless you, and nice truck!!
I agree test for power at the motor. These are very common to go bad on those trucks as I have done hundreds of them.
4 links is better, by 4 links you can design more movement direction on the system then the 3 links. For travel and stability, it's depend on kind of suspension to use, hard - soft - or combination will have different result.
