Its been awhile for me and some people are telling me differentI work for a construction company driving multiple pickup trucks a day hauling materials to job sitesThere is a Straight truck with a crane that i'll be driving alsoDo i still need a log book for this? And when is a log book need?

You don't need to keep a logbook for driving pickup trucks, or any vehicle with less than 26,000 lbs GVWR If you are driving a commercial vehicle in the local area onlyless than 150 miles from your home base, then you do not need to keep a logbook, but you still need to keep track of hours worked and do not exceed the hours of service (HOS) regulations.
