Pallets are used everywhere trucks pull up to docks and unload lots of cargo. Grocery stores, UPS, warehouses of every description, you name it. Anytime you need to move hundreds of pounds at a time, the most efficient way is to palletize it and move it about with a forklift or pallet jack.
