With airsoft, the eyes are the only area prone to any kind of serious damage. If you wear full-seal goggles (or a paintball mask) that meets ANSI certifications (paintball mask goggles do), there is absolutely no way a BB is going to get through. These goggles are qualified to withstand impacts from things much heavier and faster than plastic BBs.
Hand warmers. Dress in layers. Layers conserves the most heat. Bring a blanket. Also Alchohal will decrease your bodies temperature since it slows blood flow. This will make you colder so I don't recomend it.
