i bought a wiring harness to fit my 1999 toyota rav4 and i want to kno if the wiring can just be connected to corresponding colors. my scosche bag for the wiring kit says:yellow is 12v constantred is switchedblack is groundblue is power antennaorange is illumination dont have to connectwhite is left front +white/black is left front -grey is right front +grey/black is right front -then i have a second harness the hasgreen and greenblackviolet and violetblack for rear speakersi wanted to kno if the scoche wiring harness would match up to the colors on my harness for the pioneer deh2400ub.
just use the directions that came with the wiring adapter kit for your type car,the colors may not be a match. this plug in im talking about gets wired to your new stereos wiring harness then just plugs into the places you unplugged your factory stereo from.its called plug and play use the directions. one plug is your (power supply) and the other is for (speakers) its as simply as that.
