Is there someone that makes a Fender Mound or Bumper Mount cold air intake for the 09 Mustang 4.0 V6. I know there is CAI for them, but I want one that the filter is outside the engine bay.
Big mistake. No additional HP. No additional MPG. Waste of money (the Mustang HAS a cold air already) Increase of water/hydro-lock by a factor of 1000 and the risk that insurance will deny any claim of a grenaded engine due to 'modification' done by yourself. These things are a total scam.

What type of intake did you buy, did it have the air sensor hook ups? If it does disconnect your battery, clean the filter hook everything back up again then see if that light is on. There could be a lot of things why your check engine light is on but one easy thing you could eliminate is the cold air intake if it has the sensor hook up and if it was installed properly.
