i have a 89 camaro with a v6 in and i race it but what are the part and engines to make it a 10sec car what engine should i put in it that it will fitand other part to maintain it
odds are 99.99999999% there is no insulation.ive seen many in virginia [where i live] you have to look and see how it was built.unless its finished inside.best to hope for is good chinking and thick.logs put togther well

I'm living in a log cabin in the great white northIt was probably built in the 1940's or 50'sThey stacked the logs, not scribed, and put tar paper and fiberglass insulation in between the logsI am now in the process of chinking the inside of the houseIt's been a nice cosy place to liveCheck for dry rot or rot on the bottom sills and window and door areasGood luck with your house hunting.
Personaly I think you are aiming a little high there with 10 secondsYou're going to need some cash to do that, especially with a car that was originally a V6But If I were you I would find a Vortec 350 out of a 96-00 truckPut a ZZ4 cam in it with Crane high lift springsYou can get the cams on OKorder for around $130 the springs from summit for about $170Get some headers and an intake manifold for it so that you can run a 650cfm carb instead of fuel injection (about $200)Then you will want a turbo 350 tranny and a posi rear that can hold some powerWith that you should be around 330hp and probably run 13'sThen you can get a N2O kit and spray a 100 shot (about $600 depending on dry, wet or direct injection) and run low 12'sIf you want more you could always spray more or goto a forced induction (supercharger)You could get 10s but you'll probably need internal engine work like hardened rods, forged pistons and better heads $$$$$$$$$$$$
