Question:

1993 Nissan Altima - transmission?

My 1993 Nissan Altima started leaking a lot of transmission fluid. Prior to this the car was running fine. Any ideas what is wrong?

Answer:

Yeah man return that bike and threaten to do it all if they give you a hassle about giving your money back. Tell them they'll see you on YouTube when you make a video about the bad treatment from their lousy establishment.
Chronically on the 93-95 Altima the input seal, as well as the output seal leaks bad after 80-90k miles. If it is a standard trans. If it is an auto transmission, I would identify where the leak is coming from, the front, back, or bottom of the transmission. If it is an auto transmission ten you might just be looking at replacing the pan gasket, if it is leaking in the above mentioned places as with the standard you will be looking at replacing either the input or the output seals.
FOR SURE!! take the bike back. have a little talk with the salesman who sold u this bike. demand your money back, ask for the owner and let him know u will be writing an e-mail to the head office. when u write the e-mail, be professional yet firm on your, disappointing, purchase and experience with the company.
this bike sounds like a used bike. used bikes sometimes dont come with a warrenty, but still, the shop is still required to have the bike safe before selling. if they were trying to pass this off as a new bike, yea, i'd be getting the state attorney general involved to investigate fraud, then report the dealer to the mocoin this case, kawasaki. i'd also contact the tv news investigative reports if they refused to take the bike back, and refund every cent. if any bike could be classified as a lemon, this 1 would be it. maybe u could file an unsafe vehicle with the state patrol. in ohio, vehicles are subjected to random safety inspections. dirt or street, this 'dealer' is obligated to correct defective equipment. i sooooo smell lawsuit. can we saynegligence? i'd own that shop if my kid got hurt on a defective pos they sold as 'new'.
located on your shifter in simple terms below the button that releases the lever from park is the OD button in simple terms push it to instruct OD back on. Over dirve is in simple terms yet another equipment that engages at 40 5 miles an hour and up consistent with throttle. jointly as using at 50 mph attain down and turn OD off and notice what the tachometer does. Approx 3,000 vs. 2,000 RPM. OD off is stable around city to shrink shift searching or whilst interior the mountains. protecting the trans from upshifting and down shifting extra suitable than mandatory. maximum time owners in simple terms bypass away OD on. stable success
