I remove the transmission fluid oil from the bottom of the car but the container where you put the fluid in is still full. How do I flush out that fluid? Did I not drain the fluid right? Please help.
I dunno where your trying to put fluid in I suspect your tying to put it in the power steering res. You fill the fluid in under the car. And make sure you have the right fluid.
Is it automatic or manual transmission? Both have drain plugs in the frontal area of the transmission oil pan. Filler plugs are on the right side for automatics and on the left side for manuals. The engine oil drain plug is on the left rear area of the oil pan. Perhaps you thought one was the other? And how do you know that the container .is still full ? Does the filler plug still overflow with oil? Lastly, be careful with your choice of replacement oil. Follow the instructions underneath the transmission oil pan.
