Where should I look? What could be bad? Transmission has under ten thousand miles on it.
Which ever stick you feel more comfortable with, besides, you'll be the one playing with it- not the hockey players you mentioned.
Honda Accord V6 Transmission
I would take your car back to the dealer or shop that changed the transmission for you, and have them look at it; it may still be under warranty there if it has under 10K miles on it. Related to your concern: You might be aware that Honda suffered a class action lawsuit related to automatic transmission defects that particularly affect their vehicles outfitted with J Series engines** (i.e., SOHC, V6 motors), and the '98-'02 V6 Accords were affected to a rate of 3-8% of total production numbers. Consequently, if there's a case to 'baby' a transmission, it would apply to the one in your car. IMO, I wouldn't delay in getting it serviced asap. Best of success. ** This particular auto transmission problem does not apply to Honda vehicles newer than 2003.
